Our story
The beginning of everything
It was founded by Diana Uchendu Anasiudu as a thanksgiving offering to God for the life of Dr Reginald Anasiudu and his family on his 50th birthday. They both have the belief that you can never out give God or give anything in exchange for the love of God that they experience each day. So they intentionally want God to be a channel of His Grace, Love and Hope to all around them through the help of the Holy Ghost that is at work in them. An example is their private charity work for widows in the eastern part of Nigeria. every year they donate funds to prepare a full Christmas meal and a monetary token of 10,000 naira to about 25 widows. The Christmas meal contained live chickens, rice and other food for the Yuletide period.
Providing the Platform
After 50 years of protection, provision and prosperity from God, Diana Anasiudu decided that it was time to be a channel of God’s grace, blessings and love. However, charity must begin at home in Nigeria. The Anasiudu family with the families of Dr and Mrs Ugwu and Dr and Mrs Iroha are behind the initiation of this foundation.
It is obvious to us that a lot of people want to give back to Nigeria or to people around them. However, they do not always have a platform. The Anasiudu Foundation is aiming to provide a platform where people (especially those from the African diaspora) can give back, knowing that they are working with a credible organization to bring their visions to life.
2015
The change we will like to see in the world.
A poor standard of healthcare does not help any nation. The idea of losing lives to preventable injuries and diseases that could easily be remedied with the technology of the time period can be heart-breaking. The Anasiudu family has personally experienced losing two young, vibrant family members to a failing system. They have decided to be the change they would like to see in the world.
